NON- REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS -
A 20% deposit of total booking amount is mandatory and must be made within 7 days of the booking being confirmed. Failure to pay the deposit may result in the booking being cancelled after the 7 days.
If the total booking amount is below £30.00, then the full amount will be required to secure the booking.
Ways to pay -
CASH - in person.
INVOICE - contact a member of staff for a email or SMS invoice to pay by card.
BANK TRANSFER - Bank details will be present on the booking Invoice which is attached to the booking confirmation email.
CANCELLATION POLICY -
We ask, where possible, to give at least 48 hours notice for cancellations.
If the booking is not cancelled AFTER the closing time on the start date of the booking, then the customer will be billed for the remaining amount of the booking total.
VACCINATIONS -
Customers must provide clear evidence that vaccinations are up to date, before the booking arrival date, or at the arrival of the booking. If, on the arrival of the booking, the vaccinations are NOT up to date, the booking will be cancelled and the total amount of the booking will be due.
Vaccinations include -
- Canine Influenza
- Parvovirus
- Distemper
- Hepatitis
- Leptospirosis
All of which are included in the Pets annual Vaccination.

Cash, Card, Bank transfer & Invoice via email or SMS.
WE DO NOT ACCEPTS CHEQUES AS A FORM OF PAYMENT.
Surcharges -
We apply a £10.00 per kennel surcharge on the below dates -
25th December - Christmas day
26th December - Boxing day
1st January - New years day.

MONDAY - SATURDAY - 09.00 - 13.00 / 14.00 - 18.00
SUNDAY - 10.00 - 16.00
BANK HOLIDAYS - 10.00 - 16.00
24th DECMEBER - 10.00 - 16.00
31st DECEMBER - 10.00 - 16.00
We are closed to customers during the surcharge days above. If you would like to make a booking over those dates, booking arrival and departure must be at least the day before and day after the surcharge dates.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS -
including food allergies & medications -
It is the customers responsibility to inform a member of staff of any existing Illnesses or conditions, such as -
- Medications - medications and clearly written instructions must be provided by the customer.
- Food allergies - a member of staff must be made aware of food allergies, especially if the customers decides to use our food.
- Physical Abilities - The customer must inform a member of staff of any medical conditions or illnesses that hinder the dogs exercising ability.
- Any contagious illnesses must be reported before the booking arrival, this is to also protect other dogs in the kennels and may void the booking.
TEMPERARMENT -
It is the customers responsibility to inform Biggards dog kennels of any behaviour that may put members of staff at risk of injury. If the behaviours are not reported, the customer WILL be liable for injury to staff.
Other temperament - It is always useful to know what each dog likes, what they don't like and what they enjoy to do. This helps Biggards dog kennels to cater a package of care designed individually to each dog, in regard of - toys, training, treats & off lead "play time" in the outdoor secure paddock.
MULTI KENNELS -
Dogs from different household are NOT allowed to be housed in the same kennel together. Dogs from the same household must have permission from the owner to be housed in the same kennel. if permission is not granted, this may result in a booking cancellation if we do not have availability, or an extra charge for the additional kennel/kennels if we do have availability.
FOOD & BELONGINGS -
Biggards dog kennels provide Complete Kibble and Wet pouches/tins inclusive in the price. If a customer would like to bring their own, they are more than welcome to.
Biggards dog kennels do not provide RAW FOOD, but we do have the facility to store and prepare raw food.
Biggards dog kennels also provide bedding, bowls, toys, leads and collars. Again, the customer is more than welcome to bring their own for staff to use during the stay. Any belongings left by the customer, is left at their own risk. Biggards dog kennels are not liable for any damaged to owners property caused by their pet.
If Biggards dog kennels are at fault of damage to owners property, the belongings will be replaced, or a partial refund to the items value will be given.
ABANDONMENT -
In the event that a customer has left their pet with us, passed the booking end date stated, and no communications have been made by the customer or emergency contact to arrange an extension on the booking, then Biggards dog kennel Owners reserve the right to re-home the pet after 10 days.
If this happens, the pet will be passed over to a certified rescue centre or to our Local authority (Allerdale Borough Council), and the customer will be liable to pay the additional costs.
